My Most Helpful Cookbook

I have several cookbooks. I love them. The "church lady" books are always great because you usually know that the recipes are tried and true. But one thing about me...I don't like many ingredients for my general cooking!! My mom gave me this cookbook a few years ago and I love it. I wanted to share it with you in case you are afraid of many ingredients too. This would be a great wedding present for a young bride.

Here is a sample recipe:

Pecan Chicken
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup dijon mustard
4 chicken breasts (skinned, boned, and halved)
1 cup pecans (finely ground)

Combine honey and mustard. Spread on both sides of chicken. Dredge chicken in chopped pecans. Place in lightly greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tender.
